The Future
This article is about the idea of how our future is being seen and the idea of utopia and distopia.
Viewpoints
There are many viewpoints we could start with. Those depend on the personal experience and current position in live. A happy person would look more positive into the future, while a sad person would look more negative into the future.
Our World Starts
"We all are getting richer and hunger around the world ends."
This sentence sounds like a happy end of a novel, but it describes something much more important. It shows the view of an optimistic person on the world and how this person feels about the future. It is the view into an utopia.
Media showed us many ways how a utopia can look and how it can mislead us. We want to think positive, because we want to achieve a better live for us and our children. We think about what is wrong right now and how it would be, if it would be solved by magic.
A utopia is the idea of being just the better reality we dream of, without telling how the journey was to make this dream our new reality.
Our World Ends
"We are all going to die and our world will be a wasteland."
This is also shown in many ways in media, like in books and movies. But much more interesting is, that this idea is about the pessimistic person and the view of this person.
We can repeat, what was said in the optimistic version, but we just keep it short. A distopia is different to a utopia, that it is described in detail, how it went wrong and shows us the results as clear as possible. But it only focuses on the way and the immediate results, and not the good things that happen out of necessity.
Reality
Both are view in an extrem direction. If positive or negative. But reality never shows its details and has so many nuances, that there cant be a utopia or distopia, because it always misses the small differences that makes live better or worse.
Most distopias depicted in media are in rain or stormy weather. But if you see a rainbow your distopia would not look as authentic and a bit less real, right? And a utopia shows only the best things that could be, but not the downsides that are hidden in the ideal view of our world, with cuts to our freedom.
Reality is on average a slow change. It is not as dramatic as shown. It flows in a unpredictable way, if you look to close. There are many waves of good and bad, but in the mean it has a direction. We can conclude current results, from actions taken earlier. And seeing where this direction points, is how we as people can know what reality will look like in the future. We need to understand, how we can see this direction and predict our future, before reality changes in a way, we can't foresee or change.

When your life is nearing it's end for you it's the worlds end
As such this the end of the world most people live
You never truly care about the end of the world for other people as long as there is time for you on the horizon

You are right, its a personal view, but we all depend on each other and need social interaction. Most likly you wouldn't care about others, but at least the people near you. Your family, your friends and the people you like. You would want to not be alone on the world.
